This is a common question that confuses many affiliates.  Hard cloaking the URL on the end users browser address bar is not a good idea.  It violates the Terms of Services (TOS) of most affiliate programs like ClickBank and Commission Junction. 

You want the link cloaking to be done at your website, e-book, e-mail, report, etc. but not that destination website.
